Terms of Service

Effective date: September 11, 2026 · Applies to the Husaco mobile app, the Husaco receiver and trap devices, and husacotrap.com (together, the "Service")

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Husaco", "we", "us").

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and at least 18 to purchase devices. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

3. Your account

You need a valid email address. We verify it with a code before the account can be used.
Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at support@husacotrap.com if you believe it has been compromised.
One account per person. Do not add devices that belong to someone else without their permission.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Delete account) or at husacotrap.com/delete-account.

4. Devices and safety

Husaco traps use a high‑voltage electric circuit to dispatch rodents. Read the printed manual before use. Keep traps away from children and pets, do not open the housing while the trap is armed, do not use in wet locations, and dispose of catches according to local rules.
The receiver must be plugged into a suitable power outlet and connected to your Wi‑Fi. Notifications depend on the receiver being powered and online and on your phone having a network connection.
Notifications are a convenience, not a guarantee. Radio interference, power loss, network outages or app settings can delay or prevent them. Check your traps physically on a regular basis.
Firmware updates may be delivered through the app. Do not power off a device during an update.

5. Acceptable use

Do not: attempt to access other users' accounts or devices; interfere with the Service or its security features; reverse engineer the app, receiver or trap firmware except where the law allows; use automated tools to create accounts or send requests; or use the Service for anything unlawful.

6. Our rights in the Service

The app, firmware, website, design and trademarks are owned by Husaco or its licensors and are protected by intellectual‑property laws. We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use the app and firmware with Husaco devices you own. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation to you.

7. Third‑party services

The Service relies on third parties such as app stores, push‑notification services and email providers. Their terms apply to your use of their platforms. We are not responsible for their availability.

8. Changes to the Service

We may add, change or discontinue features, and may require app or firmware updates for the Service to keep working. If we discontinue the Service entirely we will give reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUSACO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR‑FREE OR THAT EVERY EVENT WILL BE DETECTED OR NOTIFIED. Product warranties for the physical devices are stated separately in the product documentation.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HUSACO AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF USD 100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Husaco against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users. Sections 6 and 9 to 14 survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. 14. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Husaco about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect, and continued use after that date means you accept them.
